Zelazowa Wola – Fryderyk Chopin's birthplace

Zelazowa Wola is one of the most beautiful and most popular monuments in Poland. It is placed between charming fields on the south board of Kampinos Park. In 1810 Fryderyk Chopin – one of the most popular Polish composers was born in this place.

Manor house in Zelazowa Wola was totally destroyed during the 1st world war. Thanks to charity of Polish people it was restored a few years later. The house is now a museum devoted to the memory of the composer and his family. In the exhibition inside you can see the old stove, copies of portraits and documents connected with Chopin’s family. In the summertime tourist can listen to Chopin’s piano masterpieces.
